Job summary

Avride is preparing to launch a fleet of autonomous delivery robots across campuses in the U.S. and invites an entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to join the team.

This part-time, weekend-based role supports daily operations, maintenance, and preparations of our delivery robots on-site at multiple campuses, with weekly pay through our staffing partner. You will learn foundational robotics skills in a fast-growing field, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs

Qualifications

• Comfortable in varied field environments.
• Able to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
• Strong attention to detail with a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift by ensuring hardware and software readiness.
• Charge robots and manage power cycles for fleet readiness.
• Clean robots to maintain appearance and protect external hardware.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs on the robot fleet.
• Assist with service campaigns and hardware/software updates.
• Support remote coordinators as the hands-on field contact.
• Calibrate sensors and alignment to ensure safe navigation.
• Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized.
