Avride is preparing to launch a fleet of autonomous delivery robots at multiple campuses across the U.S. and we are hiring a motivated, entry‑level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support daily operations, maintenance, and preparations of our delivery robots.

This part-time, weekend-based role is the perfect starting point for individuals looking to build a career in robotics and electro‑mechanical assembly. This position is employed through our staffing partner and offers weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in varied field environments.
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for daily deployment, ensuring hardware and software are ready.
• Charge robots and manage power cycles for fleet readiness.
• Clean robots and protect external hardware.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs on the robot fleet.
• Support hardware and software update campaigns across the fleet.
• Coordinate with remote support teams on-site as needed.
• Calibrate sensors and perform wheel alignment for safe navigation.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized for the team.
