Job summary

InfuCare Rx is seeking an Intake Coordinator-Acute for weekend shifts in the United States. The role handles benefits verification, authorizations, and patient financial counseling, coordinating with caregivers, physicians, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality home infusion services.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in intake coordination, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Intake Authorization Coordinator.
• Excellent communication skills including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all phases of intake including benefits verification, authorization, and patient financial counseling.
• Coordinate interactions with Caregivers, Physicians, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Identify guidelines and obtain prior authorizations and certificates of medical necessity when needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete records and communicate with patients and providers.
• Support revenue team to maximize billing and collection of insurance claim receivables.
