Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a House Supervisor to coordinate patient care 24/7 and act as the on-site nursing leader during off shifts and weekends. You will provide leadership, mentorship, and clinical support to Med/Surg, OB, SCU, ER, and OR staff, ensuring continuity of care in collaboration with directors and the Chief Nursing Officer.

The role requires a BSN or higher, Iowa RN licensure, and at least two years of RN bedside experience with telemetry competency.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or other bachelor’s degree; graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: minimum of two years as an RN staff nurse in relevant units.
• Licensure: current Iowa RN license.
• Clinical competency: telemetry interpretation and Med/Surg/ER/SCU/OB hands-on support.

Responsibilities

• Provides 24-hour clinical coordination and on-site nursing leadership.
• Mentors nursing staff and supports department directors and administration.
• Ensures continuity of care and coordinates hospital units on shift-by-shift basis.
• Allocates resources and staffing decisions to maintain safe care.
• Serves as liaison between nursing and physicians and participates in quality initiatives.
