Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent; graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum two years RN staff nurse experience; Med/Surg/ER/SCU/OB preferred.
• Current unrestricted Iowa RN license.
• Ability to interpret telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Provides 24-hour nursing leadership and clinical coordination; on-site representative of nursing leadership during off shifts and weekends.
• Mentors nursing staff and maintains confidentiality; demonstrates strong communication and leadership.
• Coordinates clinical care and supervises unit operations; liaison between nursing and physicians; participates in quality/performance improvement.
