Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care following policies and protocols
• Implements and monitors patient care plans

• Follows physician and nursing orders
• Assesses discharge planning needs with patient/family and team
• Provides education to patient and family based on age and culture
• Performs duties according to the Nurse Practice Act
