Job summary

OhioHealth in the United States is seeking a registered nurse for the Night shift in the Observation Unit 1. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend and shift differential eligibility.

The nurse will provide general nursing care and collaborate with the health care team to support patients along the illness wellness continuum. The position requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and adherence to Ohio Board of Nursing standards.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed and in good standing with the state board.
• Current BLS certification required for patient care.
• Ability to perform bedside nursing duties in a high reliability environment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis and ongoing health status assessment per patient needs.
• Outcomes identification and planning with documentation of interventions.
• Implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions with multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Demonstrates leadership in process improvement to enhance quality and safety.
• Performs general nursing care and operational duties in the Observation Unit.
