Job summary

Arden House (2) is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to provide clinical oversight and leadership on the overnight shift in a long-term care facility. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality nursing care, supervising staff, addressing clinical and operational issues, and serving as the primary clinical authority during night hours.

The position requires an active RN license and 2+ years in long-term care or skilled nursing, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in good standing.
Minimum 2+ years of long-term care or skilled nursing experience.
Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and manage emergencies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical oversight and leadership during the overnight shift.
Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff overnight.
Ensure care per physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
Coordinate handoffs to day shift leadership and ensure staffing coverage.
Document accurately and timely, review incident reports and notify physicians as needed.
Act as first responder for facility emergencies and ensure infection control.
