Job summary
Elderwood Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead the shift, support the nursing teams, and ensure safe, compassionate resident care during the 7pm–7am weekend hours.
The role emphasizes clinical leadership, staff mentorship, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with unit managers and interdisciplinary teams to maintain service excellence across our geriatrics and rehabilitation communities.
Qualifications
- RN license in applicable state and current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience and at least one year in a leadership role.
- Interest or experience in geriatrics and dementia population desirable.
- Current BLS/CPR.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or higher level.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing operations during the assigned shift.
- Support and supervise nursing staff across the facility.
- Serve as a clinical resource and leader for nursing teams.
- Help ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with staffing coordination, problem-solving, and resident care oversight.
- Partner with Unit Managers, DON leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
