Job summary

Resthaven Living Center is seeking an RN to supervise weekend Nursing Services and provide hands‑on care to residents in a licensed long‑term care setting. You will ensure shifts run smoothly, report on activities, and coordinate with the DON/ADON to maintain quality of care.

The role requires an RN license and a nursing degree, with at least 3 years in long‑term care and 2 years in supervision preferred. Computer skills are required for charting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in long‑term care is required.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, including Internet, keyboard, and mouse navigation is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day nursing activities for weekend shifts.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents as needed.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations about shift activities.
