Job summary

ISH Dining Services seeks a Weekend Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver direct resident care during nighttime hours, supervise overnight staff, and ensure the safe operation of the nursing unit.

The RN will conduct comprehensive assessments, administer medications, respond to emergencies, document in the electronic health record, and collaborate with the DON to uphold regulatory standards and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing with the state.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Overnight/weekend nursing experience beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per residents' plans of care.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Supervise CNAs and other overnight staff.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate protocols as needed.
• Document assessments and outcomes in the EHR.
• Communicate with DON, administrators, and on-call staff.
