Job summary
Silver Stream Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee the overnight weekend nursing team. This leadership role requires independent decision-making and a focus on resident care quality.
The RN will supervise LPNs/CNAs, review documentation, and coordinate with physicians while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Weekend-night availability is essential for this 12-hour shift.
Qualifications
- Current PA RN license to practice.
- Experience supervising or leading a nursing team.
- Background in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during the overnight shift.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality care per physician orders and care plans.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in clinical status.
- Provide clinical guidance to LPNs and CNAs.
- Address emergencies and other clinical concerns as they arise.
- Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team as needed.
- Complete and review clinical documentation and incident reports.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and other nursing duties.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations.
