Job summary

Utz Brands, Inc. in Hanover, PA is seeking a dependable Processing Operator for the Weekend Night Shift. You will set up, operate, and monitor extrusion and other equipment to produce cheese curls and cheese balls, contributing to a fast-paced production line.

You will partner with QA to perform quality checks, complete production logs, and ensure safety and sanitation standards while supporting team members and learning new equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or food production is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work around chemicals and wet floors.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete production records.
• Willingness to learn multiple processing equipment types.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor processing equipment used to produce snacks.
• Monitor equipment and adjust as needed to maintain production flow.
• Perform quality checks with QA team to ensure standards.
• Retrieve, stage, and prepare raw materials for production.
• Complete production logs and sanitation per schedule.
• Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment as needed.
• Train and support new team members.
• Adhere to safety, food safety, and quality procedures.
