Utz Quality Foods is seeking a dependable Processing Operator for the Weekend Day Shift in Hanover, PA. You will operate and monitor extrusion equipment to produce cheese curls and cheese balls, while ensuring product quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Follow written procedures, safety requirements and food quality standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor processing equipment for cheese curls and cheese balls.
• Monitor equipment and adjust to maintain smooth production.
• Complete quality checks with QA team to ensure standards.
• Retrieve, stage, and prepare raw materials for production.
• Complete production logs and usage entries accurately.
• Clean and sanitize processing equipment per procedures and schedules.
• Communicate with processing and packaging teams to maintain flow.
• Train and support new or less experienced team members.
• Follow safety, food safety, and quality procedures and report concerns.
