Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC is seeking a dependable Processing Operator for the Weekend Day Shift in Hanover, PA. You will operate and monitor extrusion and processing equipment to produce cheese curls and cheese balls, and participate in quality checks with QA to ensure product standards.

You will work with a fast-paced production team, help train new staff, and maintain production logs while following safety and food safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment to make cheese curls and cheese balls.
• Monitor equipment and adjust as needed to keep production running smoothly.
• Complete quality checks with the Quality Assurance team and ensure product quality.
• Retrieve, stage, and prepare raw materials for production.
• Log production data accurately and maintain records.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and follow sanitation schedules.
• Communicate with team to maintain production flow and train new staff.
• Operate forklifts and high-reach equipment as needed.
• Follow safety, food safety, and quality procedures and report concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and participate in daily housekeeping.
• Perform other duties to support production needs.
