Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Float Pool (Resource Team) in Chicago, IL. This part-time weekend night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) requires float duties across Swedish inpatient units and collaboration with nursing leadership.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of acute care inpatient RN experience, be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold Illinois RN licensure, and possess CPR certification. ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required within six months depending on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of experience as an acute care inpatient RN.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
• Communicates effectively and guides and supervises nursing personnel.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Float across Swedish inpatient units and report to Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Provide high-quality, individualized care for all patient levels.
• Maintain nursing standards and professional development.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Ensure safe environment and documentation is thorough and timely.
