Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a part-time RN for the Float Pool in Chicago, working weekends (7:00 pm–7:00 am). The role involves rotating across Swedish inpatient units with premium pay and RN differentials. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations and contribute to a supportive health system.

The position requires an Illinois RN license, CPR, and acute care experience; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, PTO, and health plans.

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of experience as an acute care inpatient RN.
• Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
• Communicates effectively and is able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Resource Team Nurses float across Swedish inpatient units.
• Report to the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Resource Team and site CNMs.
• Provide high quality, individualized, goal directed care for all patients and families.
• Maintain safety and adheres to hospital responsibilities and standards.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Document care thoroughly and timely.
