Job summary

Endeavor Health's RN Float Pool in Chicago, IL is a full-time position with rotating day and night shifts. You will float across Swedish inpatient units, delivering high-quality nursing care while adhering to hospital standards.

Premium pay and shift differentials apply, with a minimum starting base pay adjusted to $37.25 hourly beginning with the second paycheck in October. Requirements include at least one year of acute care inpatient RN experience, an active Illinois nursing license, CPR, and

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of experience as an acute care inpatient RN.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
• Communicates effectively and is able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Float across Swedish inpatient units as part of the Resource Team.
• Provide high quality, individualized, goal directed care for all patient levels.
• Maintain safety and professional standards of nursing practice.
• Document thoroughly and timely.
• Guide and supervise nursing personnel.
• Participate in emergency response as needed.
