Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced RN to join our Float Pool, working weekends (0.6 FTE) on the night shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, across Swedish inpatient units. As a Resource Team RN, you will deliver high-quality, goal-directed nursing care and collaborate with unit leaders to ensure safe patient experiences.

Eligible candidates have at least one year of acute care inpatient RN experience, Illinois nursing licensure, and CPR.

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of experience as an acute care inpatient RN.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• CPR certification in American Heart Association; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required.

Responsibilities

• Float across Swedish inpatient units and report to the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Resource Team.
• Provide high‑quality, individualized, goal-directed care for patients and families.
• Maintain nursing competency and safety, and document care thoroughly and timely.
• Guide and supervise nursing personnel and support staff as needed.
• Promote evidence-based practice and professional development.
