Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking a Mechanic – G shift (Weekend Nights) for our York, PA facility. The role supports maintenance across GMP environments, performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment on high-speed production lines.

Base pay is $37.43 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour shift differential. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with SAP or CMMS, and a background in consumer packaged goods manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in mechanical field preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience in troubleshooting and equipment repair in a fast-paced lean environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to plant safety policies.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and lines.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Set-up and adjust machines; perform pipe fitting and shop fabrication as needed.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to balance production needs.
• Conduct root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve OEE.
