Job summary

Church & Dwight's York, PA facility is seeking a Mechanic - E shift (Weekend Days) to maintain and repair equipment across GMP and non-regulated areas. Under supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine setup for high-speed production lines.

The role requires 3-5 years of maintenance experience in lean manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with CMMS/SAP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years' experience of proven maintenance experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or certificate from a mechanical vocational school preferred.
• 7+ years' experience working with trouble shooting and equipment repairs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and follow plant safety policies.
• Perform troubleshooting, facility, equipment and production line repairs, shop fabrication, pipe fitting (PVC and stainless) and machine set-up.
• Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance and manage work orders via CMMS.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks to balance maintenance and production needs.
• Work with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems on production lines.
• Maintain packaging and processing equipment and support Technical Line Operators.
• Investigate downtime to improve OEE and participate in Lean/ TPM activities.
