Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in York, PA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic (E shift, weekends) to maintain equipment and production lines in GMP and nonregulated areas.

Base pay $37.43/hr with $1.25/hr shift differential, plus opportunities to contribute to reliability and safety initiatives. Under supervision, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, PLC/electrical work, and root-cause analysis to improve OEE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years’ experience of proven maintenance in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or certificate from a mechanical vocational school desired.
• 7+ years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Experience with CPG industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to all plant safety policies.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs on facilities and production lines.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance and manage work orders in CMMS.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to balance production needs and downtime.
• Work with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems; adjust and repair machines.
• Perform root cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve OEE.
• Maintain building and ground support systems and ensure quality and food safety practices.
