Qualifications

• ARRT MRI registry or equivalent required

• BLS at hire for some locations; required prior to independent patient care at BSMH

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI system and coils per protocol.
• Performs MRI exams and ensures image quality.
• Positions patients and administers contrast as needed.
• Ensures patient safety and screens for metal during procedures.
• Assists in training students and new staff.
• Participates in performance improvement and audits.
