Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for St. Francis Medical Center. The role focuses on daily MRI modality operations, protocol-driven imaging, and patient care under radiologist supervision.

You will contribute to training new staff and MRI students, participate in quality projects, and ensure safety standards across exams. ARRT/ARMRIT registry and BLS are required, with state licensure preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in MRI department in hospital setting (preferred).
• MRI Registry from ARRT or ARMRIT (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire for some locations).

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI systems and selects scan parameters per protocol.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Positions patients and administers contrast as required.
• Maintains patient records and documents exam details.
• Trains and mentors students and new staff.
• Participates in quality improvement and audits.
