Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an MRI Technologist for the St. Francis Medical Center. The technologist performs MRI exams following established protocols, under Radiologist supervision, and assists in training new staff and students.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, electrode/contrast handling, image optimization, and collaboration with other departments to ensure quality care. AAR RT registry and BLS are required or preferred as noted.

Qualifications

• Associate’s ARRT accredited institute preferred.
• ARRT MRI Registry or ARMRIT required.
• BLS by American Heart Association.
• State licensure preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI system and coils to acquire diagnostic images.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during scanning.
• Educates patients about procedures and injections of contrast.
• Maintains equipment and performs QA as per protocol.
• Trains and orients new staff and students.
