Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an MRI Technologist for weekend-only shifts at St. Francis Medical Center. The role performs MRI imaging, adheres to established protocols under radiologist direction, and contributes to training of new staff and students.

Responsibilities include operating the MRI system, positioning patients, administering contrast when needed, and ensuring safety and quality assurance. You will support education and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from ARRT-accredited institute (preferred).
• MRI Registry from ARRT or ARMRIT (required).
• State licensure (preferred).
• BLS required at hire for some locations; preferred at hire, required prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI system per protocol and assist in supervision of MRI students.
• Ensure patient safety and MRI safety principles.
• Position patients, set scan parameters, and administer contrast as required.
• Perform quality assurance and document patient information and exams.
• Educate patients about exams and maintain patient confidentiality.
