Job summary

PSCFL in Miami, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations, coordinate patient flow, and ensure safety and accuracy of imaging. The role requires MR training or 3 years of MRI experience, ARRT-MR/ARMRIT certification within 1 year, and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities include chart checks, interdisciplinary coordination, meticulous documentation, and prompt PACS transmission of images—framing a patient‑centered imaging workflow during 12‑hour Friday/Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or completed a training program in MRI (or) 3 years of MRI Technologist experience.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification active within 1 year of hire date.
• American Heart Association CPR BLS certification active throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Checks patient chart or prescription to guarantee proper exam is performed.
• Coordinates MRI exams with other departments and doctors' offices.
• Documents information in patient log book and patient scan sheet.
• Operates MRI scanner to produce detailed high quality diagnostic images.
• Performs scans in a timely manner to reduce patient delays.
• Enters and transmits patient information to PACS promptly upon completion of examination.
