Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality MR imaging in a patient-centered environment. This full-time role requires weekend availability and collaboration with radiologists and the imaging team.

The candidate should possess an ARRT MR credential, Florida licensure, and an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology, with BLS certification. Expect involvement in on-call duties and a commitment to safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• 2 year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Valid ARRT (MR) credential
• Clear/active State of Florida Department of Health licensure
• 2 years of diagnostic x-ray experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
• Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material
• Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
• Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist
• Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care
