Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled or completed MRI training, or 3 years MRI technologist experience.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT credentials must be active and in good standing within 1 year of hire.
• CPR BLS certification must be active and in good standing throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Checks patient chart or prescription to ensure proper exam is performed.
• Coordinates MRI exams with other departments and doctors’ offices.
• Documents all required information in patient log book and scan sheet.
• Maintains patient safety by obtaining medical history and examination rationale.
• Follows patient-identification policy prior to examination.
