Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors serving military service members in Louisiana. The role predominantly involves weekend work with occasional weekday shifts under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP).

You will assess health, review records, and interview personnel to determine medical concerns. Applicants must hold an active NP license in Louisiana and CPR/BLS certification, with preference for those experienced in primary/urgent care or

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
Willingness to travel and work weekends.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
