Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors providing services to military service members. The role predominantly covers weekends with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in Missouri, with travel to remote military installations as needed.

Qualified candidates hold an active NP license in the state, CPR/BLS, and have experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work extended hours and travel to remote locations

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel
• Review health history and medical records
• Interview service members to determine medical concerns
• Identify concerns including Behavioral Health
• Document interview results for readiness classification in medical records
