Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Micro Laboratory Assistant to support specimen processing and basic testing on weekends. Under supervision, you will maintain records, assist with clerical tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and privacy policies.

This on-site position covers every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 8 hours per day) in our laboratory setting and requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced clinical

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and possible B.S. or ASCP certification.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to operate computer systems and document test results.

Responsibilities

• Process laboratory specimens and perform basic testing under supervision.
• Maintain documentation of testing and patient results.
• Keep inventory of laboratory supplies and perform clerical tasks.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies.
• Work holiday shifts as required.
