Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Laboratory Technician to process and document laboratory specimens, perform routine testing, and support a compliant, efficient clinical lab environment in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, data entry, and quality control while adhering to regulatory standards. We offer a supportive team, 3pm-11pm shift, and opportunities for professional growth at ARC.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor of Science degree or ASCP medical laboratory assistant certification and Associate’s degree.
• Preferred: Clinical specimen processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and record keeping.
• Maintains documentation of patient test results and quality control.
• Operates computer information systems and specialized lab equipment.
• Follows OSHA, HIPAA, and Code of Conduct standards.
• Performs routine waived testing under supervision.
