Job summary

Church & Dwight seeks a dedicated Mechanic for the York, PA facility, working E-shift on weekends. The role involves maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and handling preventative maintenance across GMP and non-regulated areas. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to safety.

Base pay is $37.43 per hour with a $1.25 per hour shift differential. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus relevant maintenance experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years’ maintenance experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or certificate in mechanical field preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience with troubleshooting and equipment repairs.
• Experience in the Consumer Packed Goods (CPG) industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to plant safety policies.
• Perform maintenance on equipment and production lines, including repairs and setup.
• Execute preventive maintenance, work orders, and improvement projects via CMMS.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to balance production needs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and perform machine adjustments.
• Support Lean and TPM activities on site and participate in training as needed.
