Job summary

You will perform preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment, adhere to safety procedures, and assist with special projects or operational needs.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills required.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor repairs and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of the restaurant, including dining room, restrooms, kitchen, storage areas, parking lot, sidewalks and landscaping.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, HVAC, refrigeration and beverage machines.
• Follow safety guidelines including proper use of cleaning chemicals, lockout procedures, and ladder safety to stay compliant with food safety standards.
• Keep walkways and work areas hazard-free and ensure exterior lighting and signage operate correctly.
• Assist restaurant management with special projects and other operational needs, ensuring equipment is clean and ready for peak times.
