Job summary

Carter Machinery Co. Inc. is hiring an Express Lube Technician in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires at least 2 years in a shop service environment and a valid driver's license. Expect to lubricate, inspect, and service machinery as part of our maintenance team.

You will work in a fast-paced setting with opportunities for overtime and shift differential. A sign-on bonus is offered for new hires, with portions paid at hire and after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a shop service environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate boom truck or equivalent and cranes.
• Proficiency with service reports and basic computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of machinery with specified lubricants.
• Inspect fluid levels for engine, hydraulics, transmission, etc.
• Inject grease into units with grease gun.
• Drain and refill oil, replace filters.
• Collect oil samples for testing and review service needs.
• Inform customers of due dates and future services.
• Monitor inventories and assist with related duties.
