Job summary

Carter Machinery Co. Inc. is seeking an Express Lube Technician in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on lubricating moving parts, inspecting fluid levels, and performing oil changes and related maintenance on various machinery.

Minimum 2 years in a shop service environment and a valid driver’s license are required. CDL/DOT certification and willingness to work overtime are highly valued assets for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a shop service environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CDL/DOT certification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of machinery with specified lubricants.
• Inspect fluid levels in engine, hydraulics, transmission, etc.
• Inject grease into units using grease gun.
• Drain oil and refill with required amount.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inform customer of upcoming service due dates and make recommendations.
