Job summary

Carter Machinery Co. Inc. in Myersville, Maryland is seeking an Express Lube Technician. Earn an hourly starting range of $34.97-$43.96 and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with $2,500 paid at hire and $2,500 after 90 days.

You will lubricate machinery, check fluids, replace filters, collect samples, and advise customers on maintenance while meeting safety and operational standards. Minimum 2 years’ shop experience, valid license, and ability to obtain CDL/DOT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a shop service environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL/DOT certification possible.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience operating field/service equipment and using basic computer/service software.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of machinery with specified lubricants.
• Inspect fluid levels in engine, hydraulics, transmission, etc.
• Inject grease using manual or pneumatic guns.
• Drain and refill oil; collect oil samples for testing.
• Replace oil and air filters; maintain inventories.
• Advise customers on upcoming service and future maintenance.
