Job summary

Carter Machinery Co. Inc. is hiring an Express Lube Technician to lubricate machinery, inspect fluids, and perform routine maintenance at customer site. The role requires at least 2 years in a shop service environment, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license; CDL/DOT eligibility is also needed.

The position offers a starting pay range of $34.97-$43.96 per hour plus shift differential, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a shop service environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driverlsense with clean record and ability to obtain CDL/DOT
• Strong mechanical aptitude for field service at customer sites
• Able to operate boom truck or equivalent and cranes
• Proficient with computers, Office products and service software

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of machinery with specified lubricants
• Inspect fluid levels in engines, hydraulics, transmissions, etc.
• Inject grease using hand or air-powered gun
• Drain and refill oil to correct levels
• Collect oil samples for testing
• Replace oil and air filters
• Suggest additional services during inspections
• Monitor oil, filters, and inventory levels
• Inform customers of upcoming service dates and recommend future service
