Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state LPN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Visit residents daily to monitor status and notify charge nurse or physician of changes.
• Identify problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures when no physician is present.
• Provide holistic care within LPN scope.
• Monitor medications, supplies, and equipment to ensure adequate stock.
• Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as needed.
• Report exposures to blood or infectious materials per policies.
