Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to lead educational and fitness-minded programming for children from 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy.

You will organize, instruct, and ensure safe, fun activities and may host events for families and members. The role requires completing all required trainings before start, obtaining CPR/First Aid within 60 days, and engaging a group of children while maintaining records and safety across activities.

Qualifications

• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Instruct activities to foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepare and set up for class and transfer kids to and from programming.
• Maintain records of children’s attendance, development, and incidents.
• Monitor safety and provide a healthy environment for toys and equipment.
• Use positive behavior management and communicate with parents and team members.
• Promote Junior programming to increase participation in Kids & Aquatics programs.
• Maintain Kids Academy and other areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking supplies.
• Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
