Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide educational and fitness-minded activities for children aged 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. The role includes hosting events, organizing games, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for kids and families.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong customer service, group engagement, and clear communication with parents. Certification in First Aid/CPR is required within the first 60 days of hire, with on-site programming and event

Qualifications

Less than a High School Diploma or GED
Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

Greets members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Instructs and organizes activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Transfers kids to and from programming and prepares class setups.
Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
Ensures a safe and healthy environment for kids and surroundings.
Uses positive behavior management and clear communication with parents and team.
Promotes Junior programming to boost participation across Kids & Aquatics.
Maintains the Kids Academy areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking supplies.
Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally
