Cedarhurst Living in Indiana is seeking a Weekend Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role reports to Maintenance Director and includes housekeeping and laundry across the community.

The position requires weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm). Candidates should have a high school diploma, housekeeping experience preferred, and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. We offer training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and trash removal.
• Clean according to schedule in resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Collect and launder soiled linens per health and hygiene policies.
• Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry.
• Report supply and equipment needs to Supervisor and restock supplies.
• Coordinate with maintenance to report repairs during the day.
• Communicate with residents' families regarding care and wellbeing.
• Work with management; take initiative and resolve conflicts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
