Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across resident apartments, common areas, and offices. The role reports to the Maintenance Director and supports operations by restocking supplies and reporting repairs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior housekeeping experience, and familiarity with basic software tools; CPR/BLS certification is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office, web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning duties in resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Follow a cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) across the community.
• Collect and launder soiled linens per health and hygiene policies.
• Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry.
• Report supply and equipment needs to Supervisor and restock as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance to report and address repairs.
• Communicate with residents' families regarding care and wellbeing.
