Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role includes cleaning, laundry, restocking supplies, and coordinating with maintenance while following established policies.

The position requires a high school diploma, prior housekeeping experience preferred, and CPR/BLS certification is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and health/HR platforms is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) and health/HR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming) in resident apartments, common areas, restrooms and offices.
• Handle laundry and linen care; launder and distribute clean linens.
• Report supplies and maintenance needs; restock as required.
• Coordinate with maintenance and staff to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care and well‑being.
