Job summary

The Township of Upper St Clair's Community & Recreation Center is seeking a Guest Relations Associate to perform a variety of routine and complex administrative duties and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for members and guests. The role reports to the Guest Relations Coordinator and supports program registration, memberships, and information services.

Weekend shifts are available; the position emphasizes friendly service, accurate money handling, and effective communication to help

Qualifications

Knowledge of computer and database systems; experience with Microsoft Office and Activenet a plus.
Ability to learn POS software and money handling procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing in the English language.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patrons, colleagues, the Township, and the public.

Responsibilities

Answer telephone and in-person informational questions and assist patrons with activity selections.
Process payments, operate a POS and member engagement software, handle online registrations.
Enforce center rules to maintain a safe environment for all.
Assist new members and visitors, highlighting recreation offerings and park amenities.
Strive to deliver the best membership experience and program retention.
