Job summary

Buffalo Grove Park District is seeking a part-time Guest Services Representative to greet guests at the Community Arts Center, answer phone inquiries, and input registrations and participant data into SmartRec. The role reports to the Superintendent of Recreation and requires reliable availability Tue–Thu 3–8 pm and Sat 9 am–1 pm, plus occasional box office support on performance nights.

• High School Graduate required.
• Two years of customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to staff as needed.
• Provide Park District information and assist inquiries at front desk.
• Enter registration and participant information into systems; maintain Google Docs records; update program data in SmartRec.
• Collaborate with recreation staff to prepare program mailings and assist with programming projects.
• Process registrations in SmartRec and handle ticket sales through Arts People.
