Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Kitter for our Sumter, SC facility. The role involves operating forklifts and cranes, handling materials, and ensuring accuracy in material tracking and storage to meet production needs.

You will apply lean concepts daily, participate in quality improvements, and maintain a clean, organized work area according to 5S standards. Location is Sumter, SC with a Friday–Sunday shift schedule.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without Company sponsorship.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Sumter SC to be considered. No relocation Benefits provided.
• Position requires experience in forklift and/or crane operation to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas.
• Receive, document, store, stage and issue all job-related material to satisfy production requirements.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve obstacles in production.
• Perform Lean Initiatives by recommending improvements related to quality and processes.
• Keep work area clean and organized per 5S standards.
