Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC is hiring a Material Handler. Hours are Monday–Thursday, 3pm–1am. The role offers $17.50/hour with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Responsibilities include material handling, cycle counting, receiving, staging, and shipping to support production. Requirements include forklift/crane experience, knowledge of materials planning and tracking systems, and residency within 50 miles of Sumter.

Qualifications

• Forklift and crane experience to move materials.
• Broad knowledge of materials planning, scheduling, receiving, shipping, and tracking systems.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Sumter, SC.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas.
• Receive, document, store, stage and issue all job-related material for production.
• Support assembly and fabrication requirements for materials as needed.
• Package, label, and prepare equipment, parts, and materials for shipment or staging.
• Apply labels and identifiers for storage and shipping efficiency.
• Follow safety and 5S standards and perform routine equipment maintenance.
