Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC is hiring a Material Handler-Forklift Operator to support shipping and material flow in the front or back storeroom, ensuring accurate cycle counts, receiving, and safe handling of parts and components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating forklifts and/or cranes in a shipping/manufacturing setting.
• Strong computer skills for basic cycle counting and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials.
• Receive, document, store, stage and issue materials to satisfy production needs.
• Support shipping, receiving and inventory activities in Front or Back Storeroom.
• Perform cycle counts and document root-cause analysis for discrepancies.
